Mini Maid of Albuquerque Celebrates 10 Years of Helping Cancer Patients

NATIONAL CLEANING FOR A REASON WEEK, APRIL 18-24

Albuquerque, NM – April 16 2020 Mini Maid of Albuquerque has been donating cleaning services to local cancer patients for the past 10 years through their partnership with nonprofit Cleaning for a Reason.

Mini Maid wants to bring heightened awareness of the cause to the area during National Cleaning For A Reason Week, April 18-24. The goal is to help more households battling any type of cancer to receive the gift of a clean home.

“We’re always eager to do what we can to help people in need,” said owner Lawrence Crappell. “The gratitude they show is priceless. We all know someone impacted by cancer. As an essential business during the coronavirus pandemic, we are happy to do our part to help cancer patients recover in a clean, healthy, safe home. We believe in not only using our skills in our professional work, but also in our giving.”

Said Crappell, “During this unprecedented time of COVID-19, we have stepped up our cleaning and disinfecting procedures and educated our team members on the CDC’s best practices for personal hygiene before entering a home and after leaving a home. Now and always, cleaning is not only our profession—it is our passion and our calling.”

For the past 10 years, Mini Maid of Albuquerque has generously donated services to 44 cancer patients, at a total donated value of $8,215 in cleanings. Through their partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, Mini Maids of Albuquerque cleans two homes per month for two consecutive months free of charge. This is an ongoing service to cancer patients residing in the Albuquerque metropolitan area from the East Mountains to Rio Rancho, Bernalillo to Los Lunas, and everywhere in between.

About Mini Maid of Albuquerque

Mini Maid was the first company to franchise the team cleaning concept nationwide in 1973. Locally owned and operated, Mini Maids of Albuquerque was launched in 1976. The team leader is a working member of the crew and completes the franchise’s 42 point checklist following the cleaning. Each Mini Maid team arrives in a company marked vehicle, in uniform, and with their own equipment and supplies. Each employee has gone through a national background check and is bonded and insured to protect clients against mishaps. Clients can choose weekly, bi-weekly, tri-weekly, or monthly service, or as needed. There is never any contract required. For more information about this company, go to minimaidabq.com.
