Soak the filter for your vent hood in hot water and Borax to make it shine again.
Take some borax you can find it at your grocery store in the laundry detergent aisle, pour 1/4 cup in a sink filled with hot water place the greasy hood vent filter in and let it sit for 15 to 20 minutes you might want to put on some gloves on to retrieve these bad boys, drain the sink, rinse well under hot water!!
